The problem
Dobbies’ high-street format, Little Dobbies, needed planogram standards establishing from scratch, and Sainsbury’s concessions integrating into the stores, all while keeping product placement and stock levels working hard in small city-centre spaces.
What we did
We built the Little Dobbies planogram library and manage it on an ongoing basis, liaising with the sales teams and planners. We introduced the Sainsbury’s concessions into the stores, ran sales analysis on the concession space, and adjusted placement and ranges as the trading picture developed.
The outcome
The format grew to five high-street garden centres from Edinburgh to London, with over-stock reduced, profitability improved, and strong performance in the Richmond and Chiswick stores.
Their knowledge across our different categories enables them to support buyers to deliver optimal planograms.
